Elaine Hall Dipl ICAT, MAAT, AFHEA is a certified thermographer and equine specialist. Elaine has trained globally with some of the world’s leading veterinary thermographers including Dr Tracy Turner, Prof. Ram Purohit, Dr Jim Waldsmith and Dr Ken Marcella; and is an active member of the UKTA, Veterinary Thermal Imaging Society, American Academy of Thermology (AAT) and International Equine Thermography Association.
The Introduction to Equine Thermography course helps delegates to decide whether or not to pursue a foundation qualification in Equine Thermography. Designed as a taster session, this course covers topics including:

- Basics of Infrared Thermography
- Basics of Equine Standards & Protocols
- Basics of Equine Scanning
- Appropriate Equipment & Software Selection
- Relevant Case Reports
- Further Equine Education (Category 1 & 2)

Delegates interested in pursuing a career in equine thermography can attend the Equine Thermography Category 1 course.
Please note: Attending the Introduction to Equine Thermography course is not mandatory for those wishing to start directly with the Equine Thermography Category 1 course.
