Thermographic surveys, in accordance with the recommendations of BS EN 13187:1999, should meet specific environmental conditions to ensure fully actionable and accurate reports. The Infrared Building Survey workshop defines these requirements in detail, and discusses the procedures required for creating risk assessments, method statements and other documets essential to the operation of a thermographer.

Bruce Arnold is a PCN level 2 thermographer, chartered engineer and commitee member on the UKTA – chairing the Building Thermography sub-commitee. Having been an engineering officer on naval nuclear submarines for many years, Bruce now specialises in BREEAM and investigative projects for iRed.
Ray Faulkner – founder of iRed Ltd – is an ex-airline jet captain with over 15 years of commercial flying experience. In addition to this, he is a CAA PfCO pilot and PCN Category 3 qualified. Ray currently sits on the BINDT CM working group, and is a committee member with BSI for ISO Standards involving thermography.
