We’ve partnered with Lancaster University to host our range of remote sensing training courses.

Inside Our Northern Training Facility

iRed has been delivering bespoke training courses for local authorities, public bodies and leading brands across the UK since 2004. Now, by having a permanent facility in Lancashire, this training is opened up to smaller groups and individuals looking to get qualified.

Steve Welland, iRed’s Training Manager, comments:

“We’re delighted to be able to use the new Forrest Hills training facility in Lancashire. The University’s fantastic facility means we can now deliver our specialist courses to a wider audience.”

“The on-site facilities are second-to-none, and the wide open spaces provide a safe and controlled environment for practical flight assessments and drone training.”

“We’ve delivered bespoke training courses nationwide, so having a permanent facility up North was the next logical step.”

Several dates have already been scheduled for iRed’s Commercial Remote Pilot Qualification (PfCO) course, with thermal, multispectral and photogrammetry courses to be announced shortly.
