ABOUT THE COURSE
Learn how to turn images captured with a drone into 3D models for measurement and analysis using Pix4D.
Photogrammetry is a technique used to create accurate visualisations of physical environments. Using the latest in photogrammetry software, this course is for those interested in conducting environment mapping, volumetric measurements and time-lapse scans with their drone.
Taught over 3 days, the Photogrammetry for Drone Operators course is ideal for aerial inspectors, along with those new to industry.
Assessment by Exams
Students attending this course will need to complete a multiple-choice examination on their final day.
Those attending the course are not required to own a drone or any remote sensors. All equipment for training will be provided for the duration of the course.
Any practical exercises (weather permitting) involving drone flying will be operated by our training instructors. As such, pilots are not required to hold Permissions for Commercial Operations (PfCO) for this course.
