Learn how to set-up and operate your aerial platform with different sensors to conduct industrial inspections for commercial applications.
A key element for any aerial inspection is the operator’s choice of sensor. This course provides an introduction to the range of sensors available to commercial drone pilots (including thermal imaging, multispectral and visual cameras), and the fundamentals of integrating these with your aerial platforms.
This course provide delegates with a range of knowledge on the latest sensors available for aerial platforms, along with the skills to successfully select, configure and integrate these sensors into appropriate platforms. It’s designed for pilots looking to bridge the gap into the industrial surveying market and gain a general understanding of the tools available.

Assessment by Exams
Students attending this course will need to complete a multiple-choice examination on their final day.
Those attending the course are not required to own a drone or any remote sensors. All equipment for training will be provided for the duration of the course.
Any practical exercises (weather permitting) involving drone flying will be operated by our training instructors. As such, pilots are not required to hold Permissions for Commercial Operations (PfCO) for this course.
